The T.I. Benefit Committee was formed seven years ago. We are made up of the T.I. staff, our friends and our families.   Our goal is to help local children and their families in their time of need by raising money for them. Local and national businesses along with members of our community generously donate items for us to auction at our benefit. One hundred percent of all monies donated or raised through out the day goes directly to our child. Our previous benefits were held for Cierra Lugo, Justin Mackenzie, Trinity Wyman, Aaron Thomas, Tara Mitzel, and Rylee Dorer. Our committee was recognized by the Jefferson Award for outstanding community service.  This years event will be held for Shaylah Saylor Saturday December 5th at the T.I.
Our committee continues to help and support charity events throughout the year. We now hold an annual ride for Trinity Wyman.   The United States Soldiers remain one of our top priorities to support. We send care packages monthly to our men and women in uniforms. Please call for details on any donation for our troops or send us an address for any one you would like us to send a package to. We encourage you to join us.

The 2009 Benefit will be held for Shaylah Saylor in December.

Shaylah is a vibrant girl who is now 11 years old. She is in the 5th grade and the oldest of 5 children. She has 3 younger brothers and 1 younger sister. She also has 4 cousins and lots of family and friends who love her! She likes to read, do crafts, do word finds, listen to country music and also a little R & B. Shaylah enjoys being in 4-H and helping with petting zoos. She loves shopping and loves school. She plays the violin and is in chorus. She does the morning announcements at school and is on the honor roll. She also loves going out to eat and the York Buffet is her favorite. 2009 has brought a bumpy, unknown road for Shay and her family, but she is strong and chose to name her care page Wishing Upon a Star.

The 2008 Benefit was held for Rylee Dorer on December 6th at the Tourist Inn.
About Rylee       A Thankyou from the Dorers

The benefit for Rylee was a big hit. A lot of people were there to show their support and to give Rylee and her family their prayers and best wishes. Rylee showed up in the grandest of style with a police escort riding on the fire engine. Rylee is such a talented and sweet girl. She got up on stage and sang a special song that she wrote, which started the benefit off. Then the auction started. There were a lot of nice things donated to be auctioned off. Plus we had a silent auction going in the pool room. There were a lot of generous people there that really made the day very special for Rylee, by giving her some of the things they purchased at the auction. There were 2 special paintings auctioned off on behalf of Rylee. They were painted and donated by Shawn Brame, the spokesperson for the Children’s Miracle Network.   Shawn gave a very inspiring speech that touched us all. All in all it was a very special and wonderful day. Thanks to everyone it really gave the true meaning to the Season of Giving.
