If anyone is interested in helping with either the Benifit or Tourist Inn Friends for Freedom (T.I.F.F.) contact either Annette or Michele at the Tourist Inn to find out when the meetings are. Always looking for anyone who wants to help with our GREAT causes at the Tourist Inn !!
We're looking for donations to send to the soldiers over seas. Including; non-parishable food, personal hygien products, books, magizines, ECT... money to help with the cost of postage. If you have a donation drop it off any time at the Tourist Inn and tell them it's for T.I.F.F..
Check out our T.I.F.F. page for more information. On our T.I.F.F. page there is a list of acceptable items to send as well as some letters from some of the Soldiers we have sent packages to.
In May we sent 9 Boxes
In June we sent 5 Boxes
In August we sent 14 Boxes
In Sept. we sent 7 Boxes and a banner
To date we have sent 235 Boxes to the troops !
I would like to take a monet to thank all of you for the care packages we have recieved. It is an honor and privilige to serve our country for people like you'll.
It is a very nice feeling when we recieve gifts like this from home. They go a long way to making the soldiers feel appreciated in an enviorment where you are not always sure who is your friend and who you have to watch.
Thank you all for thinking of the troops over here. We will all be home soon and will be able to reuinte with our family and friends and hopefully meet people like you'll that took the time to send us a little token from home.
